The Society for New Communications Research announces its call for Fellows and 2009 research and education roadmap. In 2009 the SNCR Fellows will focus on social media metrics and measurement, adoption of Web 2.0 tools and technologies by small businesses, large enterprises, and the higher education sector; new developments in mobile media; new business models for news organizations and the growing impact of social media and connective technologies on business and the economy. The SNCR Fellows will collaborate on a volunteer basis on original research and educational programs. The application deadline is December 29th, 2008. Read »
